Volunteer

Do you have a “do what needs to get done” mentality? Are you flexible and friendly? Then you’re what FDGD is looking for. We need hearty souls to help us throw a safe and fun frosty festival! The festival can’t happen without the heart and soul of you, the volunteer—and there is no better way to enjoy Frozen Dead Guy Days than to really be a part of it.

Volunteer jobs include parking assistance, merchandise sales, event help, set up, clean up,  and more. Shifts are about 4 hours long and, in addition to a fabulous time, you get:

  • Volunteer t-shirt
  • FDGD pint glass
  • 2 drink tokens
  • Catered lounge area with veg/vegan options
  • Lots of new friends 😉

Our volunteer coordinator will let you know your shift, where to check-in and other need-to-know frozen facts.* Note we are requiring all FDGD employees and volunteers to show proof of vaccination (festival attendees will not be required).


As ambassadors of the FDGD festival, there is no partying on the job. When wearing your FDGD Volunteer shirt, you should be doing your job or looking for other ways to help; this could be picking up trash, directing patrons, or helping door staff. You will be asked to remove your shirt and join the party if not conducting yourself in an official manner.

Advertise with Frozen Dead Guy Days

FDGD is an authentic, experiential marketing opportunity for advertisers in an increasingly impersonal, electronic era. A Colorado classic and world famous event, FDGD has attracted thousands of freezafarians for 18 years. Attendees are a diverse demographic of open minded life enthusiasts from Millennials to Baby Boomers. They converge on the eclectic mountain town of Nederland to participate in off-the-wall events or just enjoy some craft brew and spirited beverages in three music tents featuring over 30 of the best up-and-coming bands in the country.

1/2 Page = 7.25″ x 4.625″ for $600
1/4 Page = 3.5″ x 4.625″ for $450
1/8 Page = 3.5″ x 2.25″ for $250

Submission Requirements
Ads should be 300 dpi full color tiff, eps or pdf file.

Space and Artwork Deadlines
All materials must be received no later than February 9, 2022 to be included in the Frozen Dead Guy Days Official Festival Guide. Unfortunately, due to printing deadlines, there are no exceptions. Download the spec sheet.
